Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching

Why Executive Coaching?

Reportedly more executives and senior managers find themselves exposed to an unprecedented pressure of organizational change; they are expected to increase sales and profits, reduce the costs, improve employees’ working ethics, and enhance company’s environmental issues. And despite the complexity of theses tasks executives are often demanded to deliver instant results.

What is Executive Coaching?

Executive coaching is an individualized approach to the client’s professional development that focuses on results and outcomes and provides feedback and guidance in real time. It is effective in bringing forth the tremendous potential and it unites the best elements of leadership development, problem-solving and change management.

What are the Benefits?

  • Improve your development as a leader in your company
  • Enhance confidence and communication skills
  • Raise your profile in your company and industry
  • Help you become an inspirational leader
  • Help acquire the ability to build a productive team
  • Discuss your questions and concerns about how to handle situations that you can’t discuss with others in your organisation
  • Provide a platform to step back and look at your company or department from a different perspective

How is Coaching conducted?

Coaches and clients arrange a schedule that works well for them both. Coaches have different approaches to sessions depending on their preferred ways of working and the client’s issue.
The client brings an issue or range of issues to the session; the coach listens and forms suitable questions to further clarify the issue on behalf of the client. The coach then asks powerful and at times provocative questions; through their answers, the client explores their current experience and future options. The coach often reframes an issue in terms of the timescale and perspective to enable the client see situations in a new light and enable more creative solutions to arise. The range of possible options will be generated and an action plan agreed.

Key Aspects of Coaching:

The aspect of confidentiality is clearly an aspect of coaching which is held in high regard by the coach. This is essential to enable coachee to trust and feel sufficiently at ease to reveal their beliefs, values, aspirations, current challenges and opportunities.

Equality of Relationship

Coaching is an equal relationship embodying equal commitment of coach and client. Individual responsibility is necessary – the coach being responsible for them self and the client being responsible for them self and their decisions.

Mutual Commitment

Commitment to the coaching process and established goal must come from both coach and client for coaching to have profound effects in the client’s life.

The Client Takes Action

It is the task of the coach to help the client recognize their ability to choose and act by assuming that this is possible. However, it is crucial for the client’s growth to understand that the full and final responsibility for all their decisions and actions rests with the client them self.

The client is accountable for carrying out the agreed actions is required to feed back their progress between sessions. This grants the coaching process highly effective power and leads to real measurable results.

The coach assists the client in focusing squarely in the direction in which the client wants to go; thus enabling them to get there quicker, with less energy-sapping detours along the way.
