Can you remember a time, in the past, that you were relaxed and yet confidently did well in taking a test or having an interview? You were probably experiencing a hypnotic state known as 'trance' and recent Science has shown that it is something we do everyday when our mind goes into autopilot - driving, watching tv, daydreaming etc. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy is the skills to bring the mind into that state easily. Myth of Hypnosis:During our training, we once got this from participants as a definition. "It is a mind control tool that allows you to get your colleagues to quack like a duck." This is a big misconception made famous by Hollywood shows.You can't control people with hypnosis, you can only increase their level of openness to what you suggest. It is a powerful tool for influencing others through the words you use. What can we do with Hypnosis? In a trance state, induced by hypnosis, the mind changes the way it behaves and becomes more suggestible. This allows messages to be taken in more readily for the mind to process. Medical personnel have used it to get people to quit smoking and you can use it to: - Better integrate your NLP skills;
- Change unwanted habits;
- Create new habits and make it stay;
- Influence and coach others effectively;
- Explore the fun of human mind.
What are some of the things we learn? The following some of the topics that are covered in the course: - Understanding the power of hypnosis and the science behind it;
- Elman Hypnosis: Hypnotic language pattern that uses direct command;
- Ericksonian Hypnosis: Hypnotic langauge pattern that uses misdirections and indirect approaches;
- Practical sessions to test the level of hypnotic induction and its positive applications.
